Ahhh, I can hear the Irish and French Canadian happy hearts. The Irish immigrants of the potatoe famine landed in Montreal harbor and immediately played these tunes and both nationalities danced for joy to this tune. Irish/French peoples loved one another and intermarried with joy and again to this fiddle tune. This is a great lesson and I really enjoy it immensly.
